Hand made in Japan, this sturdy peeler has been made with round stainless steel bars. The round bars are crushed to for a flat bar which has a rounded edge - a pleasing edge to hold in the hand. The blade is exceptionally sharp and great for peeling all sorts of vegetables from carrots to squash.
